The Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PoC and Patrol Radio is a 4G dual sim auto network switching system that combines Push-to-Talk (PTT) communication with a guard patrol management system, typically using cellular networks (PoC) and GPS or NFC technology to monitor security operations. How the Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PoC and Patrol Radio and Patrol System Works?
The system integrates several components to provide real-time monitoring, communication, and reporting capabilities.

PoC Communication:
Guards use the Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PoC and Patrol Radio to communicate instantly with the Control Room and or one another. The Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PoC and Patrol Radio may also be set-up to communicate only with the Control Room. The Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PoC and Patrol Radio uses cellular data (4G/3G/LTE) to provide potentially unlimited range, unlike traditional radios with limited range. The dual sim cards are loaded with unlimited data,

Patrol Planning & Tag Checkpoints:
The Radio Provider will programme the patrol plans with specific start and finish times and specific tag checkpoints (Points of Interest or POIs). These points use NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, tags that the guard must physically scan with the Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PoC and Patrol Radio, within the specific programmed start and end plan time. Tag points that are successful will show green and unsuccessful will show red on the daily patrol report.

Undertime and Overtime on Report:
If the guard does not tag within the programmed patrol plan time, that is, if the guard tags earlier than the programmed patrol plan start time or if the guard tags after the programmed patrol plan end time, then the report will show red as per above. This also indicates that the guard was present at the Arrive time, but not within the programmed patrol plan time.

Real-Time Tracking and Voice Call Verification:
As a guard conducts their patrol, the Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PTT and Patrol Radio automatically log the date and time on the server as well as any voice calls. This data is transmitted to a central web-based dispatch console in real-time. Voice calls are available on request.

Emergency Functions: 
The Halo SS-5P 4G Dual Sim PTT and Patrol Radio typically include a dedicated emergency or “panic” button that, when pressed, alerts others and requests immediate assistance, often triggering a full-duplex (two-way simultaneous conversation) call with the control room.
